Project Phantom is a single-rotor VTOL aircraft that takes off and lands vertically, then transitions to fixed-wing flight for efficient cruise. No runway is required. Solar cells integrated into the wing extend endurance, and the platform runs entirely on electric propulsion.

Four test flights on a traditional high-wing test airframe, carrying our sensor payload. About 7 minutes each, up to 150 meters altitude, for 28 minutes of atmospheric data pulled straight from the sky: CO2 levels, air pressure, and airborne dust particle size. And many more.
